Note, if ORP option is chosen, it is mandatory to confirm the feedwater feeding the RO system is free of oxidizing material such as free and total chlorine. A daily manual confirmation or use of a calibrated online free or total chlorine analyzer is required. ORP analyzers may be used as supplemental notification but are not reliable enough to protect the membranes from oxidization damage. The Veolia warranty does not cover membrane oxidation damage due to faulty ORP instrument readings.
